Who We Are

Welcome to Vacation Initiatives in Science, Africa (VISA)

VISA was established in 2017 by Dr. Sabastine Eugene Arthur, who initiated the idea with the support of Solomon Agbozo Bedu (Nene Bedu Opata Korley II) and Dr. Charles Prempeh, to promote practical STEM education in Ghana and Africa.

The NGO was officially registered in Ghana in 2018 with the aim of training and encouraging students to use STEM to tackle challenges in areas such as sanitation, poverty, diseases, corruption, and violence. VISA focuses on promoting experimental science education in junior and senior high schools in Ghana, with plans to extend its mission to tertiary schools in the future.

Our Mision

The mission of VISA is to promote and advance practical STEM education in Ghana and Africa, with a focus on underprivileged school children.

Our Vision

The vision of VISA is to create a world where every child in Ghana and Africa has access to quality practical STEM education, and where STEM knowledge is applied to solve the enduring challenges of human existence.
